A kitchen that turns with the meal.
Preparation moves from vegetables to bread, from a roast to the table. This set gives those tasks different tools, gathered around a wooden display you can turn. Six kitchen knives, six table knives and a honing steel make a fourteen-piece arrangement with the rotating block.
Care, made part of the arrangement.
Our approach to Japanese craftsmanship begins with attention to the daily routine. The blade shape helps you choose a tool, the wooden face gives it a visible place, and the round base brings another side within reach. The carousel-inspired holder connects that sense of order with a kitchen where preparation and serving happen together.
The kitchen photograph shows one side of the display. The complete fourteen-piece configuration appears below.
Turn the display. Keep the counter in place.
The 360° base lets the wooden display turn, bringing its other magnetic face into view. It offers a different way to reach a tool from moving the whole block across the counter. Arrange the set where there is clearance to rotate it and room to lift a knife without meeting a shelf or cabinet.
Both wooden faces are used for magnetic storage. Place a clean, dry blade as directed in the supplied instructions and check that it is held securely before letting go. Turn the holder slowly with your hand clear of the edges. The empty-holder photograph makes the round base and upright structure easy to see.
Give it clearance.
Choose a stable, dry counter. Leave space around the display and above the handles.
Turn with control.
Bring the desired side toward you slowly, keeping your hand away from the blades.
Take one tool.
Hold the handle securely and remove a single knife as directed before starting the task.
See the surface. Keep it clean.
An open magnetic face is accessible when the knives are removed. You can inspect the wood and wipe the exposed surface directly. That makes the holder part of an ordinary care routine, alongside washing the blades and drying their wooden handles.
Remove every knife and the honing steel before cleaning. Wipe the holder with a soft cloth, avoid soaking the wood and let it dry completely. Clean the tools separately, then return them fully dry. Open storage does not remove the need for washing, drying or checking the condition of your tools.
- Before cleaning
- Empty both magnetic faces and place the tools securely.
- Before returning a knife
- Check that the blade, handle and wood are clean and fully dry.
Different blades. A visible choice.
The broad chef blade, the bread knife’s serrations and the santoku’s shorter profile are visible on the open display. You can compare their shapes before choosing, then take the handle of the tool that suits the ingredient. The remaining knives stay arranged on the wooden faces.
The photograph shows a bread knife being lifted from one side of the set. Leave room between tools, keep the display stable and follow the supplied removal instructions. Return blades clean and dry. Keep this open arrangement securely out of reach of children and pets.
One face is shown here; the six table knives occupy the other side in the complete set.
Match the edge to the ingredient.
The plain chef edge is a daily choice for vegetables and boneless preparation. A broad blade gives you a different working profile from the narrow carving knife or the serrated bread knife. Choosing the appropriate shape is the starting point for a controlled cut.
Work on a stable cutting board, hold the handle securely and keep the guiding fingertips curled behind the knuckles. Use a movement suited to the food and the blade. Do not pry with the knife or force it through bones or frozen ingredients. Wash and dry it promptly after preparation.
A broad everyday blade.
Use the chef knife for larger vegetables and general boneless preparation.
A longer slicing profile.
Choose the carving knife when a cooked boneless portion calls for a longer stroke.
Serrations for bread.
Choose the bread knife for crust and crumb, using a gentle sawing movement.
Wood in the hand. Care in the routine.
The handle has a smooth wooden surface with a silver collar and end cap. The rounded contour and visible grain give the knives a consistent material character, from preparation to the table. The close-up shows the actual surface and the junction between the wood and steel.
A secure grip starts with clean, dry hands and a controlled hold. Hand wash the blade and handle, avoid soaking the wood and dry them promptly. The natural grain can vary from knife to knife; keep each tool dry before returning it to the holder.
Keep honing and sharpening distinct.
The included steel is a honing rod. Used as directed on a suitable edge, honing supports alignment during routine care. Sharpening removes material to restore an edge; the two jobs are different.
Follow the supplied instructions for blade compatibility and technique. Do not treat the serrated bread knife in the same way as the plain kitchen blades. The photograph below is a still life of the two tools, not a honing-angle demonstration.
Fourteen pieces. Twelve distinct places for a knife.
Six different kitchen knives cover preparation. Six matching 4.5-inch steak knives take the meal to the table. Add the honing steel and the rotating magnetic block, and the complete configuration is fourteen pieces.
Six kitchen knives (8-inch chef, 8-inch bread, 8-inch carving, 6-inch boning, 6-inch utility and 5-inch santoku), six 4.5-inch steak knives, one honing steel and one 360° rotating magnetic block — 14 pieces.
12 knives + 1 honing steel + 1 holder = 14 pieces. Blade lengths exclude handles. Food and styling props are not included.
Choose a kitchen blade for the ingredient.
8-inch chef knife
Chop vegetables and prepare boneless meat on a stable board
The broad, pointed chef blade is the general kitchen choice for chopping vegetables, dicing onions and preparing boneless ingredients. Use a controlled slicing or rocking movement on a stable board.
Choose it for the larger preparation tasks at the start of a meal.
8-inch bread knife
Use a gentle sawing motion through crust and crumb
The long serrated blade works through crust and crumb with a gentle back-and-forth movement. Keep the loaf stable and let the serrations work rather than pushing straight down through a firm crust.
Choose it for a crusty loaf, a sandwich loaf or bread ready to serve.
8-inch carving knife
Slice cooked boneless roasts and larger portions
The slender carving profile suits longer slices through cooked boneless foods. Work in smooth strokes, with the food secure on the board, rather than forcing a short blade across the full portion.
Choose it for a cooked boneless roast or larger serving portions.
6-inch boning knife
Trim boneless meat and work around joints without cutting bone
The narrow boning profile reaches smaller areas while trimming meat. Work around joints and connective tissue with controlled movements; do not cut through bone or pry with the blade.
Choose it for careful trimming and boneless meat preparation.
6-inch utility knife
Prepare smaller fruit, vegetables and sandwiches
The utility blade covers smaller board tasks when the longer chef knife feels unnecessary. Keep fruit or vegetables stable and use short, controlled cuts with the guiding fingertips clear.
Choose it for smaller ingredients, sandwiches and everyday finishing work.
5-inch santoku knife
Chop and slice vegetables with a compact kitchen blade
The compact santoku has a rounded tip and visible oval hollows. Its shorter profile offers another choice for vegetables and smaller portions, using a controlled downward or forward slicing movement.
Choose it for cucumber, mushrooms and compact meal-prep tasks.
Six table knives.
The six matching 4.5-inch steak knives are for cooked boneless food at the table. Their plain, pointed blades share the wooden-handle finish.
One honing steel.
The black-handled steel is a separate care tool. Follow the supplied instructions for suitable blades and use.
One rotating holder.
The circular base and double-sided magnetic faces gather the tools on a stable countertop display.
The meal continues at the table.
The kitchen blades stay with preparation; the six matching steak knives belong to the serving routine. Their smaller, pointed plain edges are for cooked boneless food, with the same smooth wooden-handle character as the kitchen knives.
Two of the six included steak knives are shown. Plates, food, linen and other styling props are not included.
Prepare with purpose.
Use the appropriate kitchen blade on a stable cutting board before serving.
Set a place.
Bring the matching table knives to the meal, keeping each edge clear when arranging a setting.
Finish with care.
Hand wash and dry the knives after use, then return them to secure storage.

A routine worth keeping.
Keep the wooden display dry, choose the blade for the task and put the tools away clean. These practical details help the set stay part of everyday cooking and serving.
What does fourteen pieces include?
Six kitchen knives (8-inch chef, 8-inch bread, 8-inch carving, 6-inch boning, 6-inch utility and 5-inch santoku), six 4.5-inch steak knives, one honing steel and one 360° rotating magnetic block — 14 pieces.
The set contains twelve knives, not fourteen knives. The honing steel and magnetic holder are the other two pieces. Styling props are not included.
How much space does the rotating block need?
Use a stable, dry counter with clearance around the display to turn it, and enough space above it to remove a knife comfortably. Check the actual holder against your countertop and cabinets. Turn slowly with hands away from blade edges.
How should I remove and return a knife?
Hold the handle securely and take one tool at a time, following the supplied magnetic-storage instructions. Return only clean, fully dry tools and check that each blade is secure before releasing it. Keep the display out of reach of children and pets.
Can I use the dishwasher?
Hand wash the knives instead. Avoid soaking the wooden handles, rinse and dry promptly after use, and follow the care instructions supplied with the set. Do not put the wooden holder in a dishwasher.
How do I clean the magnetic holder?
Remove all twelve knives and the honing steel first. Wipe the accessible wooden faces with a soft cloth and let them dry completely. Do not soak the wood. Clean and dry the tools separately before returning them.
Is the honing steel the same as a sharpener?
Honing supports edge alignment; sharpening removes material to restore an edge. Follow the supplied honing instructions for suitable blades and technique. Do not assume the serrated bread knife uses the same routine as the plain kitchen blades.
